What I have done so far to feel good...

Hello Everybody,

I woke up and started to do the things I wanted to do. It is a weird feeling to explain. I feel so much happier for sure. Here are somethings I have done.

  1. DELETE SOCIAL MEDIA APPS: No! I did not say delete the account. Delete the apps The apps I had were Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I deleted the apps from my phone. Why? I have another phone that still connects to Wi-Fi, basically my little tablet, and a laptop. If I do need to go on social media, then I'll go on there, but I put strict rules when I go on social media on the tablet or laptop. First for the tablets: Check messages and notifications. For me that's it. If you want to check stories or posts just realize it is easy to lose track of time and get addicted easily again. I don't usually go on social media on the laptop. When I do go on the laptop it is to go on my business page to post for marketing and answer messages. (Note this will not work for everybody. I understand some have business tied to their social media, family, etc.) The reason I did this first because I wanted to find out how much time I have been losing. It is a weird feeling at first. I would get sad but then I think, "What's the point of getting sad? Do the stuff you always had in the back of your mind."
  2. WORK OUT: Cliche, I know, but it truly does work. I have used this app called STRONG. This app has helped me with the muscles I want to see. Virtual trophies don't mean anything to me, but it feels good when the app tells you when you finish a workout how many PR's you shattered. I started my Google Tasks and added the different muscle groups I want to work out for that day. I have been in the gym more often. I do need to incorporate running more. Where I supplement running is by playing basketball.
  3. LISTEN TO MUSIC: Sometimes I cannot control my thoughts. I'll get lost in a thought and run with it. It has ruined relationships, good things that would have been, and possibly burnt bridges. I realized that about myself when I am in my room wondering what to do. The fact of the matter is all you used to do is go on social media and watch YouTube videos all day. Now I listen to my thoughts rearrange them or turn it into something positive (What YOU deem to be positive). The overpowering thought though, that one that just nags on you. The one after the work out, maybe even the one before. Go on my music app, click. Music on and then I go back on the mission.

Those are some significant but small changes in my daily life to make the day smoother.  I feel so much better. and it's on to keep moving in the direction I want to be.

Good morning!

 Good morning!

Hope you all are having a good day. I don't know what to type on here. However, nope I got nothing.

Somehow, I love playing sports. It's not even the competition its more how fun it just is. Like basketball for example. I like to think while playing the game. Yes, it gets heated and rough but its all-in good fun. I am 30 years old and still feel like a kid just having fun.

What sucks is how competitive I can get. Its seek and destroy. It's funny when thinking of how if I am able to harness my actual potential. Possibilities are endless. What I have to fight and not let it get to my mind or thought process is thinking about the past. that is my detriment. Thinking about the past is what got my light not to shine.

Thank you,

Oba

Work Work Work

I have been in a slump. I have been down. I don't know what to do but feel sorry for myself. I do not have a car, and I live in the Craziest State called Florida. I watch videos on YouTube nonstop. I am also complaining like a little bitch!

I am eating, I have clean water, I sleep in a room with A/C, I am just lazy. Everything that happens is completely my fault.

I know I am not going into specifics {NO SHIT SHERLOCK} I have no excuse but to say I am beginner at this.

What changed?

Well, I had a conversation with my roommate about it. He was telling me you need to work. Work, pickup shifts to save, buy a car, then invest. "Take your life and fuck it. Don't let it fuck you." - Roommate (I do not have a waiver signed from him yet, so I am working on it.) Hasta Manana!

Next, I had a conversation with my best friend in the same spot as my roommate. He asked are you not trying to work? are you ok? I told him no dude I am lost. I'm trying to find something for motivation, but I cannot. He states to me, "Watching video on YouTube is not the way. Working is. I was in the same thought process trying to find a solution. Work, Grinding for years and years."

And so, I am Back at it again.

Moral of the Story: Stop Bitching and Go to Work.

Twitter showing Sissies left and right. GO JOE ROGAN!!!!!

So I was looking in my news feed on my phone and saw that so many people are really narrow minded and sensitive commenting on the Joe Rogan Podcast. So apparently there is a lot of Blue Check Marks on twitter complaining about Rogan having Alex Jones on his podcast. These people are so stupid. Let me not cause I am stupid too lol. I guess stupid knows stupid right? IDK don't  care but it is interesting to see what people actually get mad for? WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO JUST CHANGING THE CHANNEL? When I watch tv [cough, cough] And I don't like what's on, I just change the channel. What ever happened to Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me? That's what I was taught. Bad parenting and participation trophies has killed our future of badassness and competition.

The best part of this and I have attached the article link below. The people who actually supported the Rogan podcast were regular people like you and I and loved it. No Blue Check Marks. The heat that is going to come down is going to be interesting when I get more noticeable lol.

Reading Journal #1 Who is Pretending?

MGMT. “Time to Pretend.” Oracular Spectacular. (2008)

I used to have “Time to Pretend” by MGMT on repeat in my music playlist when I was going through a very toxic relationship. It brought attention to drug use and the feeling of a “pretend” reality. That some might argue to be self-destruction. Why live in where you must wake up early, go to an office job, work under a supervisor that plays politics, and deal with high school gossip as an adult? Is it wrong to escape? Or is it wrong to let that escape consume you?

The first two line of this song set the tone. “I'm feelin' rough I'm feelin' raw I'm in the prime of my life, Let's make some music make some money find some models for wives…,” Time To Pretend MGMT 2005. The artist is going through a rough time in his life. He also feels that he has not used any drugs in his life. The word “raw,” shows that he has not been cooked in the brain by drugs. The author is young, healthy, and full of energy. So, he starts to make music, and it is providing him money and fame. The last part of this lyric, “…Finding models for wives,” shows that what we have been shown in my lifetime with entertainment. Money and fame bring a higher beauty of females.

This is our decision to live fast and die young

We've got the vision, now let's have some fun

Yeah it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

The artist makes a consciences decision to start living life as thought there are no consequences. The vision the artist portrays is due to the altered mind state from using drugs. Dong drugs can be overwhelming at times. When I drink heavily, I start to slur my words, my brain comes in and out of consciousness, and I am unaware of any of my actions. Now when I mix the dosage with cocaine, I get all the positive effects from drinking, and not the negative ones I’ve mentions above. The feeling is fantastic. Your consumed by ego and confidence like President Donald Trump at a rally. Would that be considered overwhelming? Or having to deal commuting an hour to a job that you do not like. Where your boss likes to be flattered instead showing results. Where your coworkers’ gossip and stab you in the back. Reminding you all the ways you were treated in high school.

If “I’m living my best life” as Lil Duval says in his song Smile (Living My Best Life), and I die at the age of 27. Living in an altered state by doing drugs from cocaine, weed, heroin, MDMA, and/or ecstasy. Having sex with famous people and stunningly gorgeous models. Not dealing with your feelings and emotions due to the drugs. Let us view the opposite. I die at 90. Working and not following my dreams. Dealing with the constant nagging of the wife. Not being able to be who you are inside. Pretending to be someone for someone else. Working in an office job and staying stagnant. Dealing with everyone else’s issues. Pretending to care about those issues. Pretending to smile and be positive to that co worker that back stabbed you. Who is the one pretending here?

We'll choke on our vomit and that will be the end

We were fated to pretend

The conclusion of the song brings out the harsh reality of drug consumption, death. Who is to say that we should not live this life? Most would argue that they would want to live a longer life. Are you willing to pretend your way through life to live longer? Or live your life the way you want to no matter the consequences?

My days of umpiring.

My days of umpiring were awesome. What is umpiring? The actual definition is the person charged with officiating the game, including beginning and ending the game, enforcing the rules of the game and the grounds, making judgment calls on plays, and handling the disciplinary actions. The term is often shortened to the colloquial form ump.

I am talking about baseball. Here is my history on it. I was 14 years old and I was hanging around the wrong people. I got in trouble with the law and my dad said I needed a hobby for the weekends. He put me in a little league and start off with umpiring. I learned as much as I could from every umpire I met.

As I got older there was an opportunity to go to an actual school for umpiring. It is a five week course where you learn all the rules, the proper mechanics, professionalism, and the top students go to PBUC (Professional Baseball Umpiring Corp).

Learning the rules were the most interesting. You were taught the rules in a classroom and how the are interpreted. In baseball the rules say one thing but is implemented or enforced completely different. Baseball is a game were you work in the grey most of the time. There is an actual rule were if a play happens and it is not in the rule book were the umpire can make a rule on the spot and enforce it. Now we are talking professional baseball not amateur baseball.

Amateur umpiring is completely different from professional. The main factor of course is Professional baseball you have actual coaches (Sometimes) that know the game and know how the rhythm of the game works. In amateur baseball you have parents who think there kid is a professional. In amateur baseball they want the game to be in black in white when it comes to the rules. It is tough because parents don't know the game and when you add competition tensions are high.

Proper mechanics is how to call balls and strikes, the timing between calls, how to properly control a situation and situation awareness. This is were you take your bad habits and learn the fundamentals. Professionalism is earned and displayed. How to handle situations is key in any game you umpire. Learning how to speak to players and coaches. Being loud works to your advantage if you know how to use it. I am not talking about being loud in an argument or confrontation. Tonality please a big a role in making the game run smoothly. Example: ball is hit to the shortstop and makes a play were the runner is 2 or more steps from touching the base. As an umpire you just say out in a soft tone. How ever lets say the shortstop made a diving catch and the play is bang bang. As an umpire you view, assess, think, then call the play (timing). OOOUUUTTT!!!! with an aggressive hand gesture saying out. This is were amateur and professional umpires distinct themselves. This is were in my eyes I make the "BIG BUCKS". This is were I set the tone, were I run the show and let everyone know I know what I'm doing.

Safi'Jiva

This Red Dragon is a process, tidious, and time consuming.

THE PROCESS: How is your armor? Do you have 3 destroyer jewels? Does each of your armor have at least 190 defense or more? What weapons are you running? (I use either great sword, light bow gun, bow, or heavy bowgun.) How is your item layout? Do you have dust of life or life powder? What is everyone else running?

TIDIOUS: When your in the quest, you have to weaken his skin. If you dont, your weapons will just bounce off. You have to weaken his 2 front legs, his 2 back legs, his tail, and his head. Once weaken you and your squad go to town without getting hit by his dragon blast, being stomped on, get hit like a baseball with his tail, or body slammed all on the first level. WHAT!? Yes, first level, there's 3 levels. (More on that in TIME CONSUMING). As you break parts or damage his level Safi will take the energy from the map and regenerate. Each level has a certain amount of energy and your job (YES JOB), is to lower each level till you slay the dragon. Which will take you, depending on how coordinated and effective your squad is.

TIME CONSUMING: Okay, I have 2 jobs currently. I lately been coming home and jumping on MHW. I got into a Safi session and load in. Go into the gathering hub. Check my items and load out. Hopefully there is an open quest. Once I'm in and starting the quest, hopefully everyone presses start. Now that we fight it is only a 20 min quest. But with not carting and breaking parts. Time has surely passed by. I've had 4 all nighters in 3 weeks. It has been fun but more mentally draining. I'm still playing Safi I do have about 4 more weapons I need to upgrade. So see me in those sessions. Oba-Ellioco.
